"Garimpo" Usage / Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is intended to set clear expectations for using Garimpo. It is not legal advice. If you run Garimpo as a business, please have this text reviewed by your legal counsel.

1. What "Garimpo" does

"Garimpo" provides tools for tracking assets, portfolio views, and market context. Some features may include AI-assisted functionality (e.g., summarization or analysis helpers) to improve your experience.

2. Your data and our use of it

• Purpose limitation: we process your data only to operate and improve the service, provide support, and ensure security.
• No selling: we do not sell your personal data.
• AI usage: AI features are available by default but run only when you actively use them; we do not process your data for AI in the background. We may process inputs/outputs to provide the feature and to improve quality/safety. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising purposes. We do not send direct identifiers to AI providers and we minimize data where possible.
• Confidentiality: treat any investment decisions as your responsibility; Garimpo is informational only.

3. Not investment advice

• Garimpo is informational and educational. We do not recommend, endorse, or indicate specific assets, trades, or strategies.
• AI-assisted outputs are not financial advice. Do not follow AI outputs blindly; you remain fully responsible for your decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use "Garimpo" for illegal activities, fraud, or market manipulation.
• Attempt to bypass security controls, scrap the service, or disrupt availability.
• Upload or submit content you do not have rights to, or that contains sensitive personal data of others without a lawful basis.
• Share your account, credentials, or allow third parties to access your login.
• Reverse engineer, abuse, or probe the service in ways that could harm users or infrastructure.

5. Security, blocking, and account removal

• We may block or delete accounts that violate this policy, abuse resources, or pose security risks.
• Pending accounts (not fully set up) may be deleted after an expiry window for security reasons.

6. Privacy and data protection (summary)

• Data controller: XPTO IT Services and Solutions. To contact us, please use Garimpo’s support/ticket channel.
• Personal data we process: account identifiers (e.g., email), profile settings (e.g., display name, language), authentication/security data (e.g., password hashes, tokens), service usage logs, billing/support communications, and aggregated analytics.
• Purposes and legal bases: provide and secure the service (contract), prevent abuse (legitimate interests), comply with legal obligations, and run analytics with consent where required.
• Sharing: we do not sell personal data. We share data with categories of service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payments) only as necessary and with authorities when legally required.
• International transfers: data is stored/processed in the EU. If a provider processes data elsewhere, we apply appropriate safeguards.
• Retention: account profile data is deleted after account deletion. Some records (billing, fraud prevention, and support) may be retained where legally required. Security logs are retained for limited periods.
• Your rights: you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, withdraw consent, and obtain portability.
• Security: we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit) to protect data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
• Automated decisions: we do not intend to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing; automated signals may be used for security and abuse prevention.
